BH. CITY MEET participants 

A enormous thank you to all the families who made it happen with their kids swimming at City Meet.  I realize it is a commitment with the 2 day meet, the cost, heat, noise and time spent waiting to watch your kiddo to swim.  ALL Coaches are very grateful: 
We ended up with 58 swimmers. Goal was 50!!

RESULTS are attached.  
BH ended up 4TH!!!!   overall and we WON DIVISION2:   We scored 1033 total points up from 220 points last summer: .   All four coaches were incredibly proud of each and every  swimmer.  If they were 40th or 4th overall,  ALL stepped up and gave it all they had:   Out of our 195 races we had 75% improved their times.  Biggest improvement goes to AshleighB 200 IM in 4th place and dropped over 14 seconds.  Kids came and spoke to one of the 4 coaches before and/or after their race and received positive feedback and reminders before they raced :   

THANK YOU to  those parents who helped time, gave out merchandise and heat winner poker ships.   A special thanks to our awesome JR helpers. Isla J, Liberty S, Evelyn S and GabbyD.  These ladies asked to help on a day they were not swimming. They helped coaches, they got kids to the heating area, and they were timers for a few hours: . Their unselfishness allowed coaches to coach.   HUGE thanks to those swimmers who helped fill some empty spots on relays.  Lucia O,  AnnalieseC, IslaJ, LibertyS, GabbyD, Teegan (2 extra relays- what a a lot of grit they all showed: 

CITY CHAMPS on the Team :  we celebrate all swimmers and all their races. A special shout out to City champs 

1) 17-18 boys medley relay (Eli, Emmitt, MaxW, and Preston P).  2) MaxW 50 free, 3)MableS 100 fly, 4) Preston 100 fly and 100breast, 5) boys 8 under medley relay, Finn, Nolan, WilliamR and Oliver S and 6) MichealB 50 fly.  Super close 2nd place KylieS missed first by only .4 tenth, WilliamR in breastroke by 1 one hundredth of a second & OliverS missing first by one tenth of a second in50 FR:   We had  DQs :  fewer than most all teams and so many less than we had at our home meet.  It’s part of swimming and hopefully DQs can be used for a learning experience and motivation.moving forward

STATE QUALIFIED: added Mason Evans and Booker Shields :  making it 13 swimmers qualified for state. 

AWARDS. 4-12th place will be in the family team folders at the team party.
Medals 1st-2nd-3rd:  will be given out at the party.   

REGISTRY RIDGE RIBBONS. they ran out of ribbons. Will keep you posted when they are available.  

Hoping to see everyone Thursday evening at our party.  Each swimmer will be recognized and special awards will be given out, after pizza and ice cream:
