We ask that each family volunteer at meets in which their swimmer participates. Volunteers are essential to helping our swim meets run smoothly, especially during our home meet, which is staffed entirely by Bucking Horse Swim Team families.
Throughout the season, our team is also responsible for providing volunteers at additional meets, including City Meet. Please note that if our team does not fill all required volunteer positions for City Meet, Bucking Horse swimmers may not be permitted to participate in the meet.
We truly appreciate everyone’s support and willingness to help make the season a success for all of our swimmers!
Because volunteers are crucial to a successful season, we require each family to provide a volunteer deposit of $50 at the beginning of the season when you register your swimmer for the team.
This deposit shall be in the form of a check made out to: Bucking Horse Swim Team (please include "volunteer deposit" in the memo section). Throughout the season, we will keep track of families who have provided volunteers and those who have not. If your family does not provide a volunteer at least ONCE during the season, you will forfeit your volunteer deposit at the end of the season, and it will be deposited into the team bank account. If your family provides a volunteer during the season, your check will be destroye.
